This is the biennial attempt by Rep. Kolkhorst to prove that there are laws, when stitched together tortuously, will one day surprise us and unite the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into one big country. You can kiss our sovereignty goodbye. Wait, I mean kiss it adios. Or adieu. She gets this idea from the conspiracy crowd but she never quite explains that to her House colleagues when it gets to the floor. It’d be great fun to see the bill’s supporters testify at a hearing (that is if their aluminum foil hats can get through the metal detectors). Governor Perry was right the first time he vetoed it.

Costs to be absorbed. AKA wasted effort. How many bills will needs to be analyzed? Enough for a teacher?

I guess some poor lawyer in the AG's office will have to tell the Legislature that the WTO or NAFTA doesn't have a secret star chamber somewhere? Or that our laws matter in relation to federal or UN law. Really?
